PINE FOREST
The Pine Forest in Ooty is a major tourist hub. It is actually a small valley area, where several movies, songs and serials have been shot. The soaring pines, fresh air and the picturesque views of the mountains all around make it a very sought after place for shooting.
TREE PARK
Tree Park is located near Sholur Town in picturesque Nilgiris Hills near Ooty Hill Station in Ooty Taluk of Nilgiris District of Tamilnadu. This place is like picnic spot to spend with families. You will get here are views of some pine trees, horse riding and spots where some famous Bollywood songs had been shot.
WENLOCK DOWNS
Wenlock Downs is a famous picnic spot in the picturesque area of Ooty. Many block buster movies are shot at this site. Personal events also photographed.
PYKARA WATER FALLS
Pykara is river 19 kilometres from Ooty in the Indian State of Tamil Nadu with a village by the same name nearby. The Pykara River is considered very sacred by the Todas. It rises at Mukurthi peak, flows northwards, and then turns to the west after reaching the edge of the plateau.
PYKARA LAKE
Pykara Lake is a popular getaway that is at a distance of about 20 kilometres from Ooty, in the Nilgiri district of Tamil Nadu, India. The Pykara village, along with a beautiful river by the same name, also houses a dam and a power plant.
